Ophir Pass
Beautiful Mountain Pass Above Ophir
Ophir Pass is a convenient and scenic way to get from Silverton to Telluride. Seasonal wildflowers grow thick at higher elevations, and the views of Ophir are beautiful. Most of the pass can be considered easy, but there is a rock shelf on the west side of the pass that is narrow and can be difficult for passing.
