Alta Lakes is a popular camping spot with desginated campsites in an alpine setting. There are 20 desginated campsites and there are no services available onsite (pack it in, pack it out). Additionally, the road to the area is narrow and rough, and high-clearance vehicles are recommended. Trailers and RVs are not recommended.
