Festivals with Kids

Kidsfesitvals

In Telluride, festivals are a family affair. Kids love grooving to tunes under a shade tent, running around on the grassy field and sampling tasty treats at the food booths. Many of the major festivals have fun kids' areas or programs that provide hours of entertainment.

  • Mountainfilm certainly knows how to win over kids with an ice cream social. There is also a Kids Kino which features movies that are geared for kids 6-12 years old.
  • The Bluegrass Festival loves its little festivarians. With a kids’ area that has arts and crafts, face painting, hula hoop making and theatre performances, it’s hard to say who has more fun -kids or adults?
  • Kids’ smiles will be as big as their parents' with the Ride’s Kids Tent. It features a climbing wall, an inflatable bouncy house, and a bungee trampoline. Those activities alone provide endless entertainment but there is also an assortment of arts and crafts including face painting, jewelry crafts, badge buttons, t-shirt decorating and design, and lots more. The kids’ tent is open Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Your children won't want to leave the kids section at the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival. Bungee trampolines, bouncy castles and slides, climbing walls, face painting and a kids parade keep the kiddos occupied for hours.
