Hope Lake is a classic hike in the area that features a beautiful alpine lake as well as an abundance of wildflowers in the summer. 

Directions:

Head south on Highway 145 and take the left to Trout Lake. Follow the road past the lake for 2.5 miles and turn left on Forest Service Road #627. Vehicles with clearance are recommended. Follow this road to the trailhead.
