This is a short, two-mile trail that starts at the top of the Gondola at the San Sophia Station (or Mountain Village gondola - if you want to go up!). It offers valley views and switchbacks through the aspens. This trail is also a great snowshoeing option in the winter. 

Directions: 

Exit the gondola at San Sophia and take a left. The trail starts just past the gondola overlooking the town.
