StoryWalk

Enjoy Two StoryWalks

There are two StoryWalks available for families to enjoy - One in Telluride and one in Mountain Village. As you walk the trail, more and more of the story is revealed until you get to the end. This is a fun way to get your little book-worms outside! And if your children love this activity, you can come back and read a new story with them each month.

Telluride

The Wilkinson Public Library’s StoryWalk consists of 11 all-weather display stations along the River Trail, starting at the South Pine Street bridge and ending at the west entrance to Town Park. The featured story changes monthly. Stories are available in English and Spanish. You can scan a QR code, found on each station, with your mobile device to hear the story read aloud.

Mountain Village

Follow the Boulevard Trail from Market Plaza back to the Village Center, ending at Reflection Plaza. This gently sloping, multi-use paved trail is just over a 1/2 mile long. Some of the posts are set off from the path for pedestrian safety. Please be aware of bikes and other users. Enjoy a new story each month, produced by the Wilkinson Public Library. The story is available in English and Spanish. Access audio versions using the QR code found at each station.
