Situated next to Woods Lake in a dense aspen forest, in addition to camping, this area is available for day use and trailhead access. The Woods Lake Loop is a great beginner hike, and there are other longer hikes that leave from the area. The campground offers designated sites, hand pump water, vault toilets, dumpsters and equestrian friendly sites.  

Directions: Take Hwy 145 west from Telluride for 12 miles to Fall Creek Road, go 7.4 miles to Forest Road and follow Forest Road for 2 miles to the campground.
