Edelweiss Wood Flooring was born in Switzerland in 1995 as a dream of Reto & Marie Gamweger. In 2019, long time partner, John Michael Tealdi and his wife Christine, purchased the business from Reto and Marie.

Over the years, they have worked with visionaries/artists like Schotten & Hansen, who have created some of the most beautiful engineered flooring, stair details and custom millwork in the wood flooring world. In 2015, they developed and launched their EcoPlank line of flooring, which focused on high quality engineered, European White Oak floors that are sustainably harvested and don’t have V.O.C.s in the manufacture or finish. In 2019, they created their textured line of the finest solid American hardwoods. They collaborated with a small family mill that mills the wood for their climate and custom crafts uniquely textured floors designed by you!
