Green to Gold in Telluride
Every season in Telluride is spectacular but fall takes it to a whole new level. The leaves are changing rapidly. Guests continue to ask about the peak of fall colors which seems to be happening later this year. Next week should be prime time for leaf peeping with the majority of hillsides transformed to golden yellows.
The photos below show the progression of colors. As you can see, there are still some large Aspen groves on the north facing slopes that are still green.
It’s not too late to book a fall trip to Telluride to enjoy the eye candy. Keep an eye on the colors by checking our webcam page. Take advantage of our fall lodging specials. If you visit Telluride for a fall trip, share your fall photos with us and be entered to win an Aura Digital Frame, $100 gift certificate to Telluride Sports, Telluride calendar and Takeya water bottle.
