Fall Colors Are Popping Out

The annual transformation from green to gold seems to have arrived a bit late this year. The leaves just started to change color this week, but now that some patches of yellow are starting to show, the color change is happening quickly. More pockets of yellow and orange are visible each day. The south side shows the most signs of fall colors while the north side is still predominantly green.

The peak of color is so difficult to predict. But at this rate, the peak could happen next weekend (October 5 & 6) or a few days after that.  If you haven't planned your fall trip to Telluride, now is the time to do it. Take advantage of our Gold Season Lodging Special

Here are some photos taken September 26 & 27 that show what is happening with the leaves changing color.

Check our webcam page regularly to track the color change.
