Leaf Peeping Report: Leaves Are Changing

It's the most glorious time of year in Telluride-fall. Warm sunny days followed by crisp nights have us all in the mood for some pumpkin lattes.  The leaves have just started to change color in swaths high up on the hill sides, and it is happening rapidly. At this rate, the peak of color will most likely be in the next week and a half (keep in mind this is only a prediction and weather events can have a major impact). A picture is worth a thousand words so take a look at the color that we are seeing in our backyard right now. All these photos were taken Sept 21 and 22.
