Imogene Pass Run
What began as a way to train for the Pike's Peak marathon in 1974 is now a full-fledged race. The race ventures from Ouray to Telluride over the 13,114 foot Imogene Pass and is a 17.1 mile point-to-point mountain race. The pass is a 4x4 dirt road that passes through mining ruins, up jagged peaks, and above treeline. The runners finish at the Sheridan Opera House on Oak Street in Telluride.
Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared for any and all conditions. Visit the official Imogene Pass Run website for registration and further details.
