San Miguel Basin Fair and Rodeo

San Miguel Basin Fair and Rodeo

The San Miguel Basin Fair takes place every summer at the San Miguel County Fairgrounds in Norwood. Livestock shows happen through the week and shows happen daily. The Fair Board invites all to come and see the stock, visit with the kids, and also take part in the junior livestock auction. A free barbecue is planned for those who’d like to attend the sale.

The week concludes with the annual rodeo. It's a great time for everyone - kids and adults alike!

For Norwood, the fair and rodeo are part of a decades-old tradition, one that celebrates the western way of life, and brings people to town to celebrate that. There will be something for everyone, and the chamber invites you to come out and enjoy yourself.
